We’re grateful for Zoom. It has been (and still is) an amazing tool to keep in touch, connect across the miles (and kilometers, too). A God-send, it’s been, these past few years.
However.
There’s something about being in the same space that a screen just can’t replicate. Something special, something real, something sacred.
So Big Stone House is hitting the road, bringing people back together to conjure up a bit of that real, sacred stuff. It matters.
Sitting on a Sunday (this event) is a few hours of study, practice, wondering about and pondering on and curating the kinds of things that make this world (or, at least, our little corners therein) a bit more human, a bit more connected. Live. In person.
This gathering is especially for those who have been a part of Big Stone House over the years:
those who currently hop on the screen each week to Sit on Sunday and/or have been a part of Sitting on Sundays in it’s previous iterations (both in person and/or online)
folks who have been a part of any of the dozens of Enneagram courses, classes, conversations, or trainings (say: The Enneagram of Belonging, The Wisdom of the Enneagram, Using the Enneagram in the Workplace, The Wholehearted Enneagram, The Journey of Growth…and more…)
people who have been a part of The School for the Soul, The Wholehearted Experience, or any number of small group sessions here over the years—i.e.: (not another) Book Group Book Group or Good Grief.
Sitting on a Sunday is a reunion of sorts, you might say. A reconnection. A reminder of things that matter. A rekindling of the kinds of things people have found at Big Stone House along the way: hope, connection, grace, curiosity, a sense of something sacred about our days, courage to keep growing good. If those kinds of things are something you’re looking for…well…join us. You’ll be glad you did.
*note: participants will be provided the address upon registration. Location is approximately 15 minutes west of Kanata, 10 minutes north of Almonte.
